My Odd Cascade

MY ODD CASCADE

My future is so blur,my present is so vague
Thriving for happiness
Striving for acceptance
A little girl at the corner of the street

Struggling with all the norms
Forsaking her charms
Compromising her soul
No real feelings flow through her anymore

No assurance for her esteem,
No more fire within her core
A broken scattered vase of her own.
A damning spark
Ah!long ago the seeds of uncertainty were sown

She would just loose herself in the mystics of her heart
Odd cascade of emotions of her own
She screams within
A never fulfilling vacant space.

Thorns are what she saw in the roses she grown
But maybe that's foolishness and theories of her own
Drained within her self.
She's not so colorful anymore.

I will relive, i will recreate
A new story of my own
Filling in my canvas of life with the colors I've known
I'll fall and I'll rise
BUT
Life is filled with welcomes and goodbyes

My future is so blur,my present is so vague
Thriving for happiness
Striving for acceptance
A little girl at the corner of the street

Endless Stream of infinite love from the Divine

                        My Quest for Love

“IT IS ONLY IN THE RUINS THAT YOU FIND TREASURES, IT IS ONLY IN THE HEARTS OF THE BROKEN THAT YOU FIND GOD...”

  • ·         How often do you sit to ponder over your conscience?
  • ·         How often do you indulge yourself in the quest for a deeper intuitive understanding about yourself?
  • ·         How often do you see a reflection of God in your heart?
  • ·         Are you a shallow swimmer or did you ever think of diving in the deep currents of the river and forming the ocean?
  • ·         Has your heart ever questioned the capacity of the container you carry within yourself to fill with the knowledge of God, you and your love for God?
  • ·         Is HE just a God who created you or a God you long to see, to love to feel His presence in your heart?
  • ·         Have you felt Him with you lately or are you just too drifted and deluded in the worldly affairs that you fail to recall “ Remember me and I will remember you” and how unlucky are we that we prefer being part of the memories of His creation and not the Creator Himself?
  • ·         Have you dived into the ocean of love that the words unspoken reach out to Him?
  • ·         Have you thought of mending your soul by mending your relation with God?
  • ·         Have you stepped in the zone of Divine love where the language we know becomes obsolete?
  • ·         Have you felt your heart and mind in a constant battle to form an accord and your words are only grasped through silence by your Lord?
  • ·         Have you called upon Him with the same love and hope when you have no patience, little time and no light that you can see?
  • ·         Have you fallen in Sujood after surfing the noble currents of your little walk of life?
  • ·         Have you ever tried finding him in the hearts of His creation?
  • ·         Have you loved His creation for the love of Allah?
  • ·         Have you ever loved HIM?

Now ask yourself has he ever:
Loved you less?
Abandoned you?
Been any less forgiving?
Been any less merciful?

In everything you do, it is your heart that matters to Him. Close your eyes and open a third eye that sees the inner realm for yourself and the person ahead of you not the outer appearance matters if your heart is stoned. Learn to make peace with yourself in solitude, it is only then will you find your true self. Awaken your insight, your third eye.
Real love begins when nothing is expected in return, no heaven no hell, it’s you and your                                                                      Lord.

Quest to find your Lord.

Struggle to find Him in your hearts and in the hearts of His creation, we are His reflection, every human is a bit of Him, His light, His love.

I’d like to conclude with these beautiful words:
It's easy to love a perfect God, unblemished and infallible that He is. What is far more difficult is to love fellow human beings with all their imperfections and defects. Remember one can only know what one is capable of loving. There is no wisdom without Love. Unless we learn to love God's creation, we can neither truly love nor can truly know God

Our way to success

The chirping birds,the mowing cattle
The rising sun, just then the stars settle
The imaam is up and its time for Fajar
When we say Bismillah, the skies pour down Ajar
Rushing to the mosque, spraying the atar
Come to the mosque,Salah is better than slumber
There is no time for the 40 winks
Cuz' that is when the devil kicks
"Sleep some more,Sleep some more, the way is long, the water is cold"
Oh man,Oh man! Do not be fooled
Ask Allah for His shade for Salah can only pave your way.

Bling

Click Click Scroll
That's how the youth rolls

Ignoring the house chores
Hashtagging the food bowls

Too bored to explore
Just dating by the shore

An aim,to cling?
Naah,that's not their bling.

Mother? I'm suppressed
Teacher? I'm depressed
Escaping the work,off the go.

Exams are near? Man,why to care
Thinking about the Akhirah and their very souls

Then the clock strucks 12
And suddenly you're 24
Sitting in a profession, according to the score.

Writing off the memories, into the delusional notes
Lessons of the time and hardwork were jotted as quotes

Life is too short, for us to waste
Then why not to act rather procrastinate?

Let us be the eagle in the Books of Iqbal
For in that is our victory, today and far

The Shimmer got Dimmer

It was never just a piece of cloth
It is my belief,my vision,my thought.

The Hijaab I wore, was to please my Lord
To shatter the very trend of being a rack for all

He stared ,liked and followed what he saw
It was never love ,just a temporary awe

He praised and admired something so temporary
So delusional it was ,escaped in a hurry

The freckles veiled all that once was shimmer
The beauty he admired ,was now way too dimmer.

As the time eloped, thought came to trigger
He couldn't bear the woman ,now with a low figure.

Now she knew, he had gone for her beauty
Not the soul, traits and righteous duties.

Her looks were like a rent to exist
Down they go ,failed to persist.

Now I'll say,
Hijab taught me to embrace my skin
Going with the flow is a dead fish whim

A Muslimah is much more than a face
Hey!Hijab is for all, regardless of the race.

Dress to impress the Lord, and you shall succeed
Wear your Hijab,my sisters its the basic seed.

It was never just of piece of cloth
It is my belief ,my vision, my thought.

A love with a moral code

She was the girl next door...

Little did she know how beautiful she was
Just gave away her heart,to the very first she came across.

Diminishing her values, she made him stay every time
Loathed and disgusted she felt for her clay all the time.

She felt so dependent, like there was no turning back
Never called upon the savior, now that was a slack.

He rediculed her esteem, like never before.
She cried to the mosque , she couldn't do it any more.

She entered HIS( God's) house, when there were no men around
Broken in dispair , she prostrated to the gound.

She heard the words of God,chanting in her ears
She lifted her face , wiped away the very tears.

She sat in the corner, till the things weren't clear
A woman stopped by,what's the matter my dear?

She saw a face so pure, never had she witnessed before
She cried and cried and told the miseries she bore.

Turn to your Lord, He's the most forgiving and merciful
Find your peace in prayer , that is what she was told.

Upon every sujood she called, Forgive me my Lord.
You're the master and I the slave
I commit and you forgive

As the time passed by,heart widended and the days brightened
Her grip on HIS rope, her clasp tightened.

Things that mattered ,never did anymore
She had found a love, free of vices ,so pure.

She was saved by the savior, the creator of the worlds
The miseries enveloping her mind, didn't do anymore.

She was saved by the savior
She was the girl next door..

Learn to Believe it.

   A Condescending Approach to Life

Asalamoalykum Warakhmatullah my brothers and sisters!

We are a creation so perfect by our creator, A Perfectionist, Subhan’Allah
Being a woman myself I would like to put forward an aspect of our lives, an element that envelopes our very reasoning, our self esteem, our self consciousness, our very goals and choices. Not that it only fits to women, but mostly, Yes.

Being part of this censorious society we have innate reduced human measure scales of beauty, according to which we classify a person as acceptable or guilty of imperfection.
Our reduced definitions of beauty limits to certain parts of our body, eyes, hair, feet or whatever.
I believe everyone is guilty of their carping instincts at some point, little or big
We have solely lost the concept of perceiving beauty holistically.
For instance, a brother grows to an age of marriage and you might would want a general survey from the people around you, appearance nay a very defined appearance, is by far the most important element a man will look for in his woman, rarely are chances that a girl is valued for her intellect, education, an ability to run a household, chances of being an appreciable life partner and a good mentor for his to come babies.
The aftermath, many of you must already be aware of.

Anyhow the point I’ve been trying to make is, this all has drastically affected girls in their teen ages or I might can add girls under teens as well.
Every other girl ferrets up some minor flaws in their appearance either in their skin they might find a zit or they find their legs too short (even if they’re 5"6, the irony) or their cheeks too chubby or their hair too short or they’re fat, I hardly see flesh anymore, we no longer need to procure skeletons for medical surveys for every woman is a walking case of bones (No offense to skinny women, you’re beautiful, just don’t call yourself FAT and avoid bone dissolving crash diets)  and something or something. Every girl is struggling so hard to get bones instead of cheeks, sticks instead of arms and whatnot.

But what we fail to understand is, you will never be worth it for a person who fails to see beauty within you despite all what you’re gifted with. Wallahi, cruelty.
A person lacking the ability to look right at your flaws and chose to ignore them, and love you for who you really are for no human is flawless. By God, you WILL get wrinkles one day. You WILL get swollen eyes, freckles, white hair, loose skin, broad waist, but upon my soul a good heart remains there in.
Our little imagination has limited ability to foresee the big picture rather we’re personalized to go for the glitter but a wise one said every glowing piece is not GOLD.

It’s very convenient for us to splash out mean comments on how a person simply looks, what we fail to realize is how deeply we wound that poor soul guilty of being unlike you/me, guilty of being different or fails to fit your reduced belittled definition of being acceptable to the society.

You’re fashioned exquisitely. And there is someone out there struggling so hard to be like you but you don’t know the importance of it for you did not struggle any, it was God gifted so it’s for granted. It’s useless and you need to change it. You just need to challenge everything. Just can’t be happy with itCan You? Nah

The raised levels of anxiety and mental disorders are because of how complicated we make of things.
We have adopted this natural tendency of belittling and humiliating ourselves so that someone might have sympathy and say a few words of kindness.
But my question is, WHY?
Why such a condescending approach for one ownself?

Why try so hard for people to love you when you choose the exact opposite?
Love yourself. You’re worth it.
The right people will always value you and you cannot possibly be an epitome of perfection for all eyes.
Every individual has different beauty standards.

Time to modify your mind storming & reshape your own perspective.

Stop feeling so little, compromising and aimless about your life.
Beautiful things are waiting, look around you.
You choose to ignore high prospects for you’re too busy making others realizes your existence.
They’ll know it, I assure you.
Break the cocoon shell and set yourself free from all the hectics of constant self realization and be who you are.
You don’t like heels? Great, don’t wear them
You don’t like tights? Great, don’t wear them.
You like Shalwar Kameez, Go for it.
You like loose cloths and covering your hair, Mash’Allah then my sister, Go for it.

Let go of Don’ts and go with the Do’s.
You define fashion, It doesn’t define you.
Don’t go with the flow; reshape your ocean, that’s the power of a woman.

Let your radiance out roar. Walk with confidence. Know your worth.
You’re here to prove nothing, live for yourself.
YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL,LEARN TO BELIEVE IT.
My sisters:
Embrace your flaws, look right at them and choose to prefer your virtues, integrity, equity, goodness over your depravity.

Love. x
