The Shimmer got Dimmer

It was never just a piece of cloth
It is my belief,my vision,my thought.

The Hijaab I wore, was to please my Lord
To shatter the very trend of being a rack for all

He stared ,liked and followed what he saw
It was never love ,just a temporary awe

He praised and admired something so temporary
So delusional it was ,escaped in a hurry

The freckles veiled all that once was shimmer
The beauty he admired ,was now way too dimmer.

As the time eloped, thought came to trigger
He couldn't bear the woman ,now with a low figure.

Now she knew, he had gone for her beauty
Not the soul, traits and righteous duties.

Her looks were like a rent to exist
Down they go ,failed to persist.

Now I'll say,
Hijab taught me to embrace my skin
Going with the flow is a dead fish whim

A Muslimah is much more than a face
Hey!Hijab is for all, regardless of the race.

Dress to impress the Lord, and you shall succeed
Wear your Hijab,my sisters its the basic seed.

It was never just of piece of cloth
It is my belief ,my vision, my thought.

A love with a moral code

She was the girl next door...

Little did she know how beautiful she was
Just gave away her heart,to the very first she came across.

Diminishing her values, she made him stay every time
Loathed and disgusted she felt for her clay all the time.

She felt so dependent, like there was no turning back
Never called upon the savior, now that was a slack.

He rediculed her esteem, like never before.
She cried to the mosque , she couldn't do it any more.

She entered HIS( God's) house, when there were no men around
Broken in dispair , she prostrated to the gound.

She heard the words of God,chanting in her ears
She lifted her face , wiped away the very tears.

She sat in the corner, till the things weren't clear
A woman stopped by,what's the matter my dear?

She saw a face so pure, never had she witnessed before
She cried and cried and told the miseries she bore.

Turn to your Lord, He's the most forgiving and merciful
Find your peace in prayer , that is what she was told.

Upon every sujood she called, Forgive me my Lord.
You're the master and I the slave
I commit and you forgive

As the time passed by,heart widended and the days brightened
Her grip on HIS rope, her clasp tightened.

Things that mattered ,never did anymore
She had found a love, free of vices ,so pure.

She was saved by the savior, the creator of the worlds
The miseries enveloping her mind, didn't do anymore.

She was saved by the savior
She was the girl next door..
